NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the Annual General Meeting of the Friends of the Arts Centre Gold Coast to be held in “The Panorama Suite” at The Arts Centre Gold Coast on Tuesday, 19 September, 2017 at 6.00pm

4. CONFIRMATION OF THE MINUTES OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY 9 SEPTEMBER 2015 

5. ADOPTION OF THE DIRECTORS’ 2016 ANNUAL REPORT 

6. ADOPTION OF THE STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2017 

7. APPOINTMENT OF AN AUDITOR 

8. APPROVAL OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES FOR THE YEAR ENDING 30 JUNE 2018 

9. ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS FOR THE YEAR ENDING 30 JUNE 2018 ## 

10. GENERAL BUSINESS ### 

#Nominations for a position (10 positions) as a member of the Board of the Friends of the Gold Coast Arts Centre will close Friday 18 August, 2017. 

Only recorded financial members shall be entitled to nominate, be nominated and/or vote. If more candidates are nominated than there are vacancies on the Board, an election will be held by postal ballot handed to the Secretary by the Returning Officer immediately prior to the commencement of the Annual General Meeting and announced by the Chairman of the Annual General Meeting to the meeting 

## A Nomination Form is included with the Notice. 

### Any member wishing to have a matter discussed as a General Business item or wishing to have a motion included in the agenda of the forthcoming AGM is required, in accordance with the Articles of Association, to provide details to the Secretary prior to 12 September, 2017. Please note that a Motion must we worded in such a way as to allow members to vote either YES or NO. 

If you are unable to attend the Annual General Meeting but wish to have your vote recorded, please complete the proxy voting form. It should be noted that proxy votes do not apply to the election of Board Members
