SWELL VIP Event

We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive VIP event hosted by the Friends  of the Arts Foundation in partnership with the SWELL Sculpture Festival. As proud sponsors of the $2,000 SWELL Sculpture Young Artist Award, we are excited to celebrate and support emerging talent in this awe-inspiring outdoor exhibition.

About SWELL Sculpture Festival: SWELL Sculpture Festival is Queensland’s largest outdoor sculpture exhibition, featuring breathtaking works by local, national, and international artists. The festival transforms Currumbin Beach into a vibrant outdoor gallery, with pop-up exhibitions across the Gold Coast.

Venue: VIKA Currumbin – SWELL Smalls Gallery & Wallace Nicoll Park
Address: 766 Pacific Parade, Currumbin Beach
Parking: Limited parking is available. We recommend public transport or $10 parking at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (9am – 4pm).

Event Schedule:

4:00pm: Welcome at VIKA Currumbin – SWELL Smalls Gallery. Enjoy a complimentary drink on arrival.

4:30pm: Join us for an exclusive tour led by the SWELL curator. Each guest will receive a program and be guided through the stunning sculptures for an hour.

5:45pm: Gather at the Paperbark Pavilion in Wallace Nicoll Park for canapés and drinks will be available for purchase.

7:00pm: Event concludes. Guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the main SWELL Bar, live music, and bites from the food trucks.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with like-minded art enthusiasts, enjoy an evening of exceptional art and culture, and support the talented young artists shaping the future of the Gold Coast’s vibrant arts scene.
